Seeking experienced Glazier for a family-owned business serving the Chicagoland area for 75 years.

Non-union position

Looking for long-term employment with options for temp-to-hire or direct hire position with compensation ranging from $25.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience/work history. 

Our ideal candidate will have a proveable work history of 1-3 YEARS EXPERIENCE with knowledge of window installations, caulking, balance replacement, insulated glass replacement, storefronts, door repairs, screens, shower glass installation, glass/mirror cutting/polishing. We are seeking an employee who is dependable/reliable, professional, and honest with amazing communication skills and the ability to work independently with good attention to DETAIL along with the ability to work on a team. Someone who can get the job done while maintaining our proven track record of presentable technicians with great customer service skills! Must have a good attitude, be a team player, and have the ability to follow company policies, operating procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

REQUIREMENTS: MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE with no restrictions, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs without issue, and to safely use cutting tools.

Other Beneficial Skills (Not Required): Any measuring, painting, flooring, drywall, and other carpentry skills; any previous construction/maintenance experience a plus, the ability to travel.

Job Type: Full-time with possible over-time

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
